Mice
The mouse hid from view,
carefully learning of the world,
one experience, one observation,
one lesson. Learning slowly
while knowing so much.

Smartly stepping, still spying,

So I was most fortunate to take a class on haiku last week. I learned that the common 5-7-5 syllabic structure is bunk. The new definition of Haiku is basically “a short poem of no more than 3 lines.”

If you think about it, different political attitudes have different things they value. Nationally, Conservatives seems to most value their morals and money, two abstract concepts. Liberals tend to not place as much value on the abstract, but the physical and natural (social programs, the environment).
